Senior Recruitment Partner - Campus Recruiting
As an integral member of the Recruitment and Intake Team, the Senior Recruitment Partner, is responsible for the management and oversight of Investment & Corporate Banking Analyst & Associate campus recruitment process. These will include strategic, managerial & administrative activities. The incumbent is also accountable to develop new Intake strategies and programs for the Investment & Corporate Banking Group that will attract qualified resources.
This individual will champion relations with external organizations (e.g. Universities, Colleges, Career Edge etc...) through presentations, focus group meetings, and special events in order to build deep and lasting relationships that are a key pipeline for key strategic intake roles. This role will be a key integrator and the “go to” person on recruitment for Capital Markets Leaders, Human Resources Business Partners and the Capital Markets Learning team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Manage, coordinate and act as primary point of contact in recruiting for the Capital Markets Campus Recruitment program (s).
· Establish a best-in-class campus recruiting strategy and program(s) to support the Capital Markets human capital requirements and business strategy
· Oversee & execute all summer intern and full time Analyst & Associate campus recruiting activities & processes, nationwide
· Develop & maintain strong relationships with the members of the Campus Recruiting Committee, business leaders, key hiring managers and Analyst/Associate Coordinators for input and support to attract high performing talent
· Ensure the appropriate level of line professional involvement in recruiting-related events, interviews etc; actively support campus teams with appropriate processes, materials and expertise
· Maximize success rate (candidates interviewed to accepted offers) through professional, timely campus recruitment, interview and selection processes
· Direct the activities of designated admin support and ensure seamless execution.
· Run a cost effective campus recruiting program with a high success rate
· Review campus recruitment program annually ensure continuous improvement of existing processes & components
· Recommend and communicate timelines to ensure effective execution of campus recruitment plan
· Engage existing program stakeholders through proactive communication
· Track, measure & report on annual recruitment and retention performance
· Manage assigned people resources (provide context and manage day-to-day performance)
2. First point of contact for business leader and/or HR Business Partner for any questions and/or escalations that pertain to Capital Markets Campus RecruitmentRespond to inquiries and issues that arise in the recruitment processRecommend solutions to issues and escalate to Senior Leadership any obstacles that may impact program delivery
3. Develop and implement reporting and monitoring mechanisms that allow us to track the progress and overall effectiveness of the Associate/Analyst Campus Recruitment programDevelop feedback mechanism for business leader that provides rich source of information on various aspects of the program (e.g. qualitative and quantitative)
4. Develop and Coordinate campus recruitment events Explore alternative venues/mediums to attract candidates to the program Develop and maintain various campus recruiting initiatives including participation in career fairs and facilitation of relationships with campus Career Centers to build pipeline for potential hires
5. Maintain knowledge and subject matter expertise of relevant industry and segment trends and recommend program revisions as appropriate
6. Maintain the reputation and attractiveness of the program through relevant promotional activities (both internal and external) - this requires a thorough understanding of the competitive marketplace, competitive positioning and knowledge of business requirements
Collect, aggregate and analyze internal and external market/competitive research and management information on staffing and recruitment, including University & College recruitment best practices and industry trendsAssist in special projects, data analysis/data access and presentation activities as required
7. Work with HR Business Partners to:
Ø Understand business requirements and intake specifications and ensure that all on-boarding programs are aligned to the needs of the business and delivering the expected outcomes
Ø Determine recruitment needs and recommend the types of programs that best meet those needs
Ø Develop, cultivate and maintain ongoing strong relationships
Ø Implement customized products and services
8. Work with Talent Management & Diversity Colleagues to:
Ensure that our Employment Brand and Employee Value proposition is appropriately positioned within the context of all on-boarding and intake programsEnsure that diversity is embedded into all our programsResearch, identify, recommend and develop new opportunities for enterprise, regional and line specific intake programs
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Undergraduate business degree and at least 5 years direct experience with campus recruiting, preferably for investment banking professionals; MBA preferred
· Knowledge of investment and corporate banking business, products and technical skills, including credit, debt, equity, M&A products, financial analysis, accounting etc
· Energetic, motivated, solutions-oriented to attract and retain high performing talent
· Strong attention to detail; very organized
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Demonstrated high performance track record
· Able to work in a matrix/team environment
· Ability to interact at the executive, senior management, and non executive levels of the organization
· Superior written and verbal communication skills
· Service and results-oriented
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
