For more information, visit State Street's web site at www.statestreet.com Senior Purchaser, Officer Job Description Provides development and execution of procurement strategies and negotiation process for the procurement of specialized commodities/services. Provides day-to-day project management of assigned category activities with supplier management. Conducts RFP processes and negotiations managing complex global agreements.Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines. Utilizes Strategic Sourcing systems and adheres to Strategic Sourcing polices and procedures.Interfaces with clients to determine business area needs regarding specialized commodity services. Performs business analysis and develops recommendations for business solutions.Establishes internal customer interface especially with key customers and externally with vendors.Provides guidance in the development, negotiation and execution of terms and conditions for legal agreements.Communicates Strategic Sourcing strategies to clients with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.Develops and recommends policies and procedures to assure adherence to corporate policy and legal requirements. Job Specifications 5-7 years overall procurement experienceExperience in dealing with legal agreementsExhibits a global mindsetDemonstrated negotiation and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively with all levels of management and employeesFour-year college degree required, MBA preferred, CPM desirableClick here to apply
