Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area. 8-10 Years of Project Management/Program Management Extensive knowledge of and experience with formal project management methodologies and tools. Advanced analytical or problem-solving skills. Experience managing multiple medium-scale software or product development projects. Experience managing geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment. Experience with project financial management and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Knowledge of Banking or Financial Services. Knowledge of Cash Management and/or electronic payments such as ACH and Wire. Responsibilities The Senior Project Manager will provide leadership for one or more projects simultaneously for a variety of business and/or technology initiatives, from project inception through rollout. The Project Manager shall be responsible for project estimation and budgeting, will oversee and direct the requirements definition, design, development, integration, and delivery of all products, technology solutions, and/or services associated with the project, and shall perform project quality management, risk management, and financial management and reporting for projects up to $10MM. The Senior Project Manager will partner with Business Line Managers, Operations Managers, and IT professionals to ensure projects are properly defined, planned, and executed in a manner consistent with established PMO guidelines and PMI best practices to deliver expected results in the areas of efficiency, revenue generation, customer service, and/or strategic advantage, on time, within budget, and to the agreed upon quality level while achieving a high level of client satisfaction. Facilitate the project initiation process, including requirements gathering, project estimation, and development/submission of funding requests. Develop and manage project schedules, coordinate project team activities, manage and/or facilitate project meetings and work sessions, conduct project staff management, perform financial and operational analysis, conduct vendor management and contract administration to ensure delivery and performance according to project agreements and in compliance with technical standards and contracting policy. Oversee project work on a day-to-day basis, delegating tasks to team members and reviewing deliverables to ensure all requirements are met. Ensure team recommendations and subsequent actions are based on sound analysis and are properly vetted with management and relevant project stakeholders. Monitor project status. Proactively identify project risks, develop and implement successful risk management and contingency plans. Proactively identify, escalate, and bring project issues to timely and successful resolution. Develop and implement a project quality management plan, communications plan, and project change management process. Maintain project documentation. Manage project communications across all stakeholders and levels of management. Report status to project sponsors and management as part of an effective communications strategy. Proactively engage in activities designed to ensure adherence to defined Project Management methodology, project delivery standards, and regulatory/oversight requirements. Build strong working relationships with peers, internal clients, stakeholders, and team members. Collaborate with Business Line partners and provide consultative guidance during strategic planning. Maintain a good understanding of current operations, technologies, and business strategies in order to help identify new project ideas or business opportunities.
