Senior Developer/Analyst

By combining your talent and our strengths, we can achieve great results. The Senior Developer/Analyst will work on a variety of systems that constitute the platforms within Equity Finance IT. Over the next 2-3 years, we will be evolving these platforms to handle the increasing volume and complexity of the business. A user base of several hundred is spread across the UK, Switzerland, US and Asia.The Securities Lending platform has evolved over the years through development, acquisition and mergers. There is redundancy of function, poor code, and poor architecture. Over the coming years we are looking to: Deconstruct existing systems Define appropriate functions Optimize system structure Build a reliable, scalable approach to structuring our systems Emphasize real-time, online processing Develop exception based processing Build a front to back Securities Lending platform that facilitates order entry, borrow/loan entry, contract life cycle processing, reconciliation, settlement, financial risk management/reporting, counterparty interaction and end customer interaction.We are looking for a candidate with experience in front end systems, N tier architecture, inter-process communication, middleware and exception based processing as well as business process improvement.
