PRIMARY FUNCTION

 

The Senior Business Analyst will assist with the deployment, implementation and integration as it relates to the Eagle Investment Systems suite of products namely Pace, Star and Performance. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for the gathering of requirements where they will obtain a complete understanding of data in the environment and flow across different systems, automate and support the reporting process, configure Eagle front-end based on business needs, and provide ongoing user support of Eagle applications. Additionally this individual will provide recommendations on best practices for running Eagle applications efficiently and will aide in the integration of Eagle with the Charles River Investment Management System and further development of Performa’s Eagle and Charles River Investment Systems platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  Responsible for business analysis and front-end configuration of Eagle applications, data migration, integration with Charles River IMS, streamlining of data feeds, and delivery of automated client and portfolio manager reporting. Leads business analysis together with information technology, portfolio managers, compliance and traders in collecting requirements and support of analyzing risks and assessing the impact and implementation of EAGLE, as well as development on other investment management systems, on the investment management process. Participate in and/or lead test and document planning, test conditions, perform and document solutions testing and defection resolution. Provide post-implementation, follow-up and onsite support as well as future development and enhancements to Performa’s investment managements systems.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  2+ years experience in business analysis of Eagle Investment Systems applications. In depth knowledge and understanding of Fixed-Income securities and accounting practices. Excellent understanding of asset management  industry Understanding of data management, data migration, data marts, and reporting calculations Experience in organizing, planning, executing large scale projects from vision through implementation. Experience in business process re-engineering, business systems analysis, process improvement involving broad-based information systems utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change. Self-starter, excellent communication skills, project management, leadership skill a must Work from home initially then relocate to new PA office; periodic travel to Bermuda required
