Sales Support Manager
Leads variety of sales support activities for the Wealth Managment line of business to drive overall sales performance and ensure sales goals are met. Coordinates development of sales objectives and strategies to ensure a consistent and effective sales approach; designs and implements specific sales programs, marketing strategies, advertising and promotional campaigns and other activities. Identifies, evaluates and recommends new business opportunities and markets. Leads or participates in product information presentations to clients and prospects. Develops and maintains strong business relationships with other Company departments to ensure productive partnerships and maximize sales and cross-referrals. Manages staff and provides indirect coordination of sales staff in a matrix-type organization, establishing goals and evaluating results. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.Office Location- TBD in MA, CT, NY, NJ and PAApply online at tdbanknorth.com or send resumes to sharon.reis@yesbank.com Requirements: Strong sales experience in Wealth Management or Banking or Private Banking necessary, including knowledge of proven effective sales support strategies. In-depth knowledge of related products and services required, including applicable legal and regulatory guidelines. Strong business development skills, including ability to conceptualize and implement strategies to target new business opportunities. Excellent analytical skills to make effective evaluations and quality decisions. Ability to coordinate large, impactful projects effectively without direct authority. Systems knowledge to articulate requirements for technology sales support. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including public speaking ability. PC skills, including understanding of analytical research tools. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to meet, communicate with and interact with employees and clients exchange information and coordinate efforts. Primarily sedentary desk work when not meeting with clients.
