SUMMARY OF POSITION 

 

The Redi2 Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting the sales team in the marketing and sale of Redi2 Technologies’ products and services, and is the expert source for product and technology during the sales process.

 

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Consultant assists the sales team in driving revenue by answering detailed Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs); preparing and delivering professional and complete demonstrations of Redi2 Revenue Manager and related add-on modules; executing “proofs of concept� that meet prospective clients’ specific business requirements; answering complex functional and technical questions that arise during presentations and throughout the sales cycle; and setting appropriate client expectations during the sales process. 

 

The Sales Consultant often works closely with the Redi2 Engineering and Professional Services teams to manage technical sales deliverables and ensure a successful transition from sales to implementation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Redi2 Sales Consultant will: Assist the sales team in closing large, complex deals that have an average sales cycle of 6-9 months Track activities in the company’s sales management database (Salesforce.com) Manage and ensure professional responses are provided on detailed Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) Assist in the generation of new sales opportunities with direction by the Vice President of Sales Provide detailed onsite/internet product demonstrations/workshops Travel as required to perform onsite product demonstrations and attend industry conferences Participate in conference calls as needed by the sales team Assist in the building and maintenance of direct marketing mail/email distribution lists Actively build and maintain relationships with prospects Maintain a high level of product and industry expertise Dissect and understand prospects’ and clients’ businesses and relate Redi2 Technologies’ products and solutions to those businesses Clearly communicate industry trends and product needs to the sales team and executive management 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS 

 

The ideal candidate has:  3+ years’ experience in implementing financial software (or the equivalent combination of consulting, technical, programming and/or sales skills) with a proven track record of success A B.A. or B.S. degree in Engineering/Computer Science or Business from an accredited institution of higher education General technical/software acumen; Relational databases and SQL experience recommended A flexible schedule with the ability to travel extensively and when needed Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Planning and implementing skills Business ethics and integrity Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office product suite  

COMPENSATION

 

Base salary and commission/incentive pay are commensurate on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
