Sales Consultant/Inside Sales/Loan Officer

Our Portfolio Retention Team seeks Sales Consultants to work closely with our existing customers developing long-term relationships in order to provide them with the best borrowing solutions available.  Sales Consultants will participate in inbound and outbound telephone strategies and campaigns, determine customer needs, collect and analyze financial information to qualify and pre-approve customers, identify timely and relevant mortgage solutions, and engage in follow-up application and closing activities with customers. 

 

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of mortgage sales experience, with a strong emphasis on inside sales.  Applicants with less than two years of mortgage sales experience must have at least three years industry experience in real estate, mortgage processing, underwriting or servicing, or mortgage banking.  Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA or other GSE products and one year of telemarketing experience are highly desirable.  A college degree is preferred.  Strong skills in customer service, negotiating, communication, analytics and detail orientation are required.  Abilities to service multiple customers simultaneously, effectively manage priorities, solve problems, and achieve results are expected.
