Extensive travel required throughout branches in the Robinson Division. Manage operations and provide quality customer service by managing resources, analyzing branch activity, ensuring that customer issues are handled, and promoting sales referrals while complying with bank policies and procedures. Assist in the achievement of branch and bank goals and objectives through the direct sale of financial products and services to new and existing customers and through the referral to other departments/areas as opportunities are developed. This position functions in a service staff capacity in the designated location.  Grade determined by the level of experience.

Customer Service/Management: Provide quality customer service at an excellent level. Attain optimum efficiency and productivity in customer service by managing resources and analyzing branch activity. Manage operations of the branch. Ensure that operating procedures are being followed, and provide guidance and training to branch personnel on operating problems, handling of exceptions and adjustments. Ensure that customer problems and complaints are handled professionally, effectively, maintained at a minimum level, and resolved at the branch level to the customer's satisfaction. Maintain personal banking skills and to provide leadership in each of the bank's critical customer contact areas. Be able to perform all transactions necessary to meet consumer needs, including deposits, withdrawals, sales of money orders and travelers checks, loan payment handling, sell and cross-sell effectively all consumer banking products and services. Interview loan applicants to elicit information, determine appropriate structure of loans, cross-sell opportunities, communicate decisions or recommendations, obtain and/or send proper documentation and resolve related customer issues. Open new accounts, generate loan applications and complete all branch requirements to foster loans through boarding process.Sales: Maintain a current and thorough understanding of all consumer (personal & basic business) products and services. Be able to respond to customer inquiries and to generate sales of products. Actively participate and contribute to the branch/bank sales and promotion activities. Ability to assess consumer needs. Analyze a consumer banking relationship relative to the financial needs of the customer and to make product and service recommendations. Actively support teller sales referral program by maintaining 100 % participation. Generate business through direct interaction with customer or by mail. Participate in customer retention program by making customer retention calls regularly both in person and/or by telephone contact. Supervision/Leadership: Provide leadership in each of the bank's critical customer contact areas. Supervise staff in the absence of managers. Ensure that the office is operating in a safe and effective manner. Employees are trained in Bank safety and security policies relating to branch safety, emergency preparedness and robberies. Motivate and train all branch staff in cross-selling Bank services. Proactively pan, develop and implement sales campaigns and promotions to expand usage of the Bank's products and services. Promote sales referrals by demonstrating leadership and sales culture. Conduct staff meetings to communicate bank, division and branch information.3-5 years banking experience in operations and/or Financial Services. Supervisory experienced required. Daily travel required within the San Francisco area including but not limited to Marin County, Sonoma County, and San Mateo County
