SEC Reporting Production Manager Summary
Our client, a Fortune 100 financial services firm, is looking to expand their team in Seattle, WA. They are searching for an analytical and diligent SEC Reporting Production Manager to be responsible for leading the production team in the preparation and filing of quarterly earnings release tables and quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Qs & 10-Ks). This position reports to the SEC Reporting Manager.

SEC Reporting Production Manager Job Responsibilities Plan, supervise, prioritize, and participate in the preparation of the quarterly and annual external reports.Assign and delegate work to staff members based on proper assessment of skills and competencies. Manage external printer during EDGARizing process; responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timely filing of SEC reports. Primary contact for external auditors during their audit/review of SEC reports. Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to validate/obtain comfort in the information disclosed in the external/SEC reports. Work with business line contacts and senior management to ensure reporting is relevant and accurate. Assist with researching emerging accounting guidance to determine its impact on the company’s reporting process. Responsible for SEC reporting process control procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

 


Essential SEC Reporting Production Manager Skills & CharacteristicsCPA Four-year college or university degree with major in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 4 years of post qualification experience either in a Big 4 firm or in an SEC Reporting department Strong current understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and SEC reporting requirements Banking experience desirable but not required
