We are looking for a SBA Loan Packager to join our Popular Small Business Capital Unit located in Rosemont, Illinois. Position Characteristics: POSITION CHARACTERISTICS: This position is responsible for the administrative tasks relative to SBA loan closings. This person will serve as the facilitator in transitioning loans from credit to closing. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Prepare SBA Loan Application package and obtain all required signatures•Prepare, submit and coordinate with SBA the issuance of an SBA Loan Number•Process incoming deposit checks from customers •Facilitate third party vendor report ordering •Submits completed package to SBA Loan Closer (II or III) based on complexity of the closing process.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATRIBUTES REQUIRED:•Knowledge of commercial loan closing requirements and processes, emphasis on SBA preferred•Knowledge of T-Soft and PCFS software preferred•Ability to work on multiple projects/loans simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes•Ability to assimilate and apply new job-related information in a timely manner.•Ability to analyze situations and solve problems. •Effective organizational, oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.•Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.•Exhibit adaptability in a team oriented environment.•Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software, inclusive of Word and Excel.ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalentParalegal training and/or experience a plus.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
