Resource Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functional Title for the Role is: Resource Manager. This position has a clear impact on the corporate bottom line as the central coordination point for Core Operations Human Capital Resource Management. Working closely with the mega process owners, recruiting, training and development, the Resource Program Manager will; - Assess and obtain a detailed understanding of the human capital resource needs of Core Operations - Perform trend and needs analysis, and forecasting to identify potential areas of human capital surplus and demand - Coordinate and implement management strategies, tools and techniques for the effective deployment of resources to meet supply and demand needs - Working in conjunction with Corporate Partners, the Resource Manager will be responsible for the design, creation and the viable maintenance of an internal pool of resources The position will work with Senior Management and key stakeholders to make and execute key decisions affecting the direction and management of resources. Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key partners within Core Ops Processing, Recruiting, Training and Development, HR Business Partners and Senior Management. Track and report progress and results of the program to key stakeholders. Ensure that adequate education and feedback channels are built into the program to enable continuous and real-time improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent related work experience. - Progressive management experience with a focus on human capital development and/or resource management required. - Thorough knowledge of business unit functions, systems and general brokerage office operations. - Strong project management, analytical, organizational and motivational skills required. - Ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change. - Established track record to negotiate, influence and communicate across a wide variety of audiences. - Must possess conflict management, problem resolution and strategic thinking skills. - Prior employee development and/or recruiting experience preferred. - Knowledge of operations business preferred.
