Credit Suisse’s Fixed Income IT division (FID IT) is seeking a highly qualified Software Quality Manager who is a self-starter with initiative and drive. The Quality Manager role is a leadership position with responsibility for establishing, implementing and driving FID IT’s global short and long-term QM strategy and best practices across the division. He/she will be responsible for building a strong QM team across FID IT, and providing practical & effective software testing procedures using proven and innovative techniques tailored to our development life cycle model.

 

Functional Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Leadership
Establish strong partnership with FID IT Senior Management team and other Product Line Managers across
the sub-division globally.
Establish & ratify FID IT QM Functional Model
Establish FID IT QA and QC Strategy and Best Practices
Define QM Organization, including key roles and responsibilities
Represent FID IT in bank wide process and quality forums
Establish and document QC Process flows
Create QC Test Pack Templates (plan, estimate, schedule, test cases & scripts, Summary Report, etc.)
Partner with managers (Dev, BA, RM, etc) on integrating QM into the overall SDLC process.
People/Team Management
Building a strong QM Team across the FID IT sub-division.
Perform a “QC needs assessment� across all FID IT product lines
Assess existing QC Team, identify gaps, and establish development plan for each QC staff.
Drive hiring of QC professionals for remaining roles
Coach, Mentor and Lead the QM staff across the sub-division.
Partner with business analysis, development managers and other key stakeholders across the various FID IT product lines to streamline QM process.
Establish and agree timeline for implementation of QM processes with each product line
QA Reporting
Develop QA reporting process, key performance metrics (statistical and non-statistical) and reporting pack.
Establish quarterly review to ensure proper utilization of QA resources and process improvement, as required.
Define, Evaluate and select QM tools
Investigate, Evaluate & Select QA tools for division - automation, control, reporting.
Establish and chair QA Governance Committee.
Define membership, schedule meetings, establish escalation process & procedures.


SKILLS:

 
Required Skills:
Thorough understanding of QA Principles, techniques, & technologies
Testing and test automation experience. [5+ years]

Experience with Mercury tools such as Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Winrunner (or equiv).

Desired Skills:
Experience designing and building a test harness or framework.
Experience Testing web applications [5+ years]
Load Testing [1+ years]
Security Testing [1+ years]

Business analysis/requirements gathering and design
Knowledge of Financial Service industry
Knowledge of fixed income securities business
