Provide analytical support to management for various risk measurement, quantitative modeling techniques, and the loss migration model.  Assist managers in advising internal clients. Develop reports and documentation presentations for management.Provide analytical support to management for risk measurement techniques, and monitoring of industry risks that might impact UBOC. Assist Management in advising internal clients on risk templates, scorecards and models as part of company-wide Basel II and related projects.Provide technical monitoring and upgrading assistance on a loss migration model. Develop reports and presentations for the group Manager, and Executive Management. Develop internal risk rating models, and assist in the evaluation, selection and use of external probability of default and loss severity models.Assist in the development of risk grading templates and scorecards. Assist the Risk Manager in ongoing surveys of industry practices for risk measurement. Provide thorough, audit quality, documentation of projects and processes.Typically, requires a Master's degree in finance/quantitative field, plus at least 5 years of related experience in the financial services industry.  Knowledge of UBOC helpful, plus accounting and credit skills.  Broad-ranging analytical experience, and experience in start-up situations.  Exceptional skills in quantitative methods and computer technology, including statistical analysis, and computer modeling, are desirable.  Familiarity and experience with database design strategies and packages. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are a must, including; the ability to influence and help clients adapt to change, lead and facilitate dialogue with business partners on key risk measurement issues, and the ability to collect pertinent data quickly and without unnecessary intrusion.  Strong PC skills, and financial analysis skills.  Proficiency in Excel/MS Office, MS Access, and statistical software, such as SAS highly desirable.
