Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Memphis, TN 38103 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Pay Rate: 65,000.00 - 85,000.00 USD /year Reference Code: 1001132271 Support for HP quality tools Development of automated test scripts in Quick Test Pro Development of load and performance test scripts in Load Runner Support of remote / field testing PCs (known as “robotsâ€�) Provide daily support of HP quality tools including reporting and periodic on-call support Provide daily support of technology tools used in QSM such as Changeman DS, VSS, and Service Center Assist in guiding business and IT leadership teams through various quality based process changes Collaborate with customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options Apply a broad knowledge of various technical functions to accurately anticipate organizational impactsShare responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Skills and Knowledge  Quality Process knowledge HP Quality Center 9.x system administration, process and workflow development Knowledge of the following HP quality modules: Quality Center Load Runner Quick Test Pro  Understand how to develop QTP Scripts Understand how to develop Load Runner Scripts 2+ years experience developing VB Scripts Basic understanding of servers and networking 6 - 10 years experience developing/integrating/supporting applications or functions in an IT environment, with a strong focus on quality assurance processes Experience working on all ranges of development integration projects from small to enterprise level a plus Experience working with database structures and databases (Oracle, SQL Server) a plus Excellent PC skills in a Windows XP / Office 2000+ environment Excellent analytical skills with strong focus on problem solving abilities Excellent verbal/written communication skills Self-motivated and detail-oriented   ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in an office environment, often working directly with clients Travel may be required (25%) On-call, after hours availability will be required Weekend work may be required   JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:  Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, a related field, or equivalent experience.  EXPERIENCE: · Minimum 5 – 7+ years working in a technology (IT) environment · Minimum 2+ years working with HP quality tools Â· Minimum 2+ years working with quality assurance processes OTHER: · Experience and expertise in programming constructs, logic, approach, and methods  Â· Demonstrated ability to work own work effectively  Â· See “Skills and Knowledgeâ€�
