We have two outstanding opportunities available for Project Managers based in Cleveland, Ohio.Essential Functions- Directs the efforts of a project team and assigned staff to meet established goals and objectives for projects of the highest complexity, large scope, involving multiple lines of business and functional divisions. Projects will be of high priority for the Real Estate Services team and National Channel Management in meeting business objectives and strategies. Project Managers must effectively manage multiple Real Estate projects relating to Integrated Branch Strategy Branch Modernization and Branch Expansion in order to ensure that the Real Estate Services department succeeds in its mission of delivering high quality, affordable, and well-positioned facilities to Key. The Senior Project Manager (PM) is the leader of the initiative and the main representative to the client. - Directs and manages the efforts of a Project Team and assigned staff, to meet established goals and objectives, for large and complex projects that may be national in scope and cross multiple lines of business. - The position provides leadership to groups of multifaceted exempt employees and advises senior management on technical and business issues or processes. Lead groups from multiple lines of business to resolve issues that may be large and complex. - Interact with senior levels of management to identify project priorities, set/receive direction, resolve issues and communicate project status. - Determines project budgets and maintain control of costs. - Identifies and employs effective Risk, Issue and Change Control Management techniques. - Develops effective relationships with senior functional managers and their management teams to achieve business objectives. - Ensures effective and efficient project methodologies, processes and procedures are employed. - Provides consultant services to operational areas as well as other business units as required.Marginal Functions- Foresight and understanding of real estate based projects in order to foresee upcoming issues and provide guidance toward resolution. - Although the Senior Project Manager should have a broad basic knowledge of all facets of CRE (including planning, architecture, construction, etc.) the PM is not supposed to assist team members in the finer details of the sub-tasks, but to maintain the sights on the overall project delivery. - Implement or recommend quality improvements developed within the project context. - Travel will be required.Required Skills- BS Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a business related field or equivalent. - Project Management Certification desired. - Advanced Degree would be beneficial. - 10 plus years of management experience in real estate, construction, or equivalent required. - Three plus years of Project Management experience including large, complex projects. - Superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management are essential. - Must be knowledgeable in all areas of Real Estate and Construction and have a through understanding of workflows and related processing systems. - Advanced problem solving and diagnostic skills.Preferred Skills- Proficiency with PCs and PC based software is essential. i.e.; Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes. - Proficiency with Project Management software and/or Microsoft Project. - Professionally certified in Project Management through the Project Management - Institute or equivalent. - Must posses a thorough understanding of work processing flows and the systems utilized in operational areas.Training Provided- PC software training as needed - PMP CertificationLife at Key is exciting, challenging, and rewarding.
