Project Assistant/Business Unit Leader (North Houston)

The Benchmarking Network, Inc. is an international resource for business process research and metrics. We provide benchmarking training and research to individual companies, professional and trade associations, and industry and process based groups. Since 1992, we have developed a database approaching 140,000 members of groups involved in benchmarking. Our over 300 studies have spanned virtually all processes and industries to identify measures and collect data to identify best practices.

Job Description


We are looking for individuals to work with our project leaders to assist them in managing the day-to-day management of our projects. This position requires constant phone communications with our clients and potential clients.


Core ResponsibilitiesContacting association members and target companies for both paid and non-paid participation in projectsScheduling and coordinating project meetings and site visitsArranging meeting locations
Essential requirements for this position are:
Comfortable communicating with clients over the phoneGood record keeping skillsComputer literacyExperience at working in project teams.



This is a full time paid Monday through Friday position at our offices in the 1960 area of Houston, Texas. Standard days are flexible and may be scheduled to begin at 7, 8 or 9 but must follow a set schedule with an hour for lunch in the middle of the day.
