Product Manager - 45752

BMO Capital Markets, the U.S. based investment and corporate banking practice of BMO Financial Group (NYSE: BMO), is an integrated full-service mid-market investment bank. • Responsible for the overall product management relating to growing suite of international products.
• Generate revenue growth through active management of our GTM International Products.
• Design and coordinate new product offerings and ensuring that corporate policies and procedures relating to all new initiatives are adhered to.
• Proactive role in managing international solutions for our client base.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


1. Product Management
• Drive product management priorities for GTM
• Responsible for product management of GTM’s International Product Suite
• Provide input into yearly investment plan process
• Project and idea funnel from internal and external sources
• Provide benefit estimations and business cases for ISO submissions


2. Business Planning
• Responsible for overall financial management
• Plan and manage product revenue plans
• Develop key performance metrics


3. Design and Implementation
• Provide strategic direction to product line
• Execute new product rollout strategy to the relevant market segments
• Provide input to solution mix, packaging and pricing
• Develop strong international market & related segment knowledge
• Develop general product functional knowledge
• Gather/understand and plan for market & industry needs/issues
• Communicate strategies to the various constituencies within the Bank
• Plan and develop product/market collaterals and related communications.


4. Launch
• Provide sales support for acquisition and retention of profitable clients;
• Provide input to sales toolkits (RFP’s, pitch books and other collateral)
• Provide Distribution Channel support, including training
• Develop conversion strategies and execution for each market


5. Steady state
• Track and analyze key performance metrics
• Gather internal and external feedback on product performance
• Refine program offering, if necessary
• Work closely with Sales to successfully pitch products to prospective and existing clients

Knowledge & Skills:

• University degree and related job experience. At least 4 to 6 years work experience preferably in a international product manager role with an international focused Financial Institution.  
• Strong knowledge of international payments, standards, and protocals.
• Excellent understanding of SWIFT formats and standards.
• Good working knowledge of Correspondent Banking.
• Working knowledge of European and/or Asian banking.
• Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal.
• Strong client relationship and related development skills.
• Demonstrate initiative and self-confidence.
• Strong problem solver.
• Well developed analytical skills.  
• Ability to manage within a constantly changing environment and ability to process multiple informantion sources.
• Excellent relationship management skills required for internal, client and vendor management.
