Product Development Analyst - Financial Services

The SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union (Serving School Employees as OCTFCU since 1934) is one of the most highly respected financial institutions in the nation.  Known for world-class Member service, SchoolsFirst FCU was voted the 10th best small to medium sized companies to work for in the country.  We are currently seeking a Product Development Analyst in our Strategic Planning department.  This position is responsible for gathering and analyzing data and making recommendations to management on new products or services or for changing, adding or updating existing products and services. Reporting to the Manager, Product Development, the successful candidate will be  

§ Responsible for developing SQL based reports to support general marketing needs in support of Product Development

§ Analyzes Member and non-Member data in support of Product Development initiatives

§ Assists in developing and executing a strategic product plan. Develops and maintains product descriptions, including how the products work from start to finish.

§ Evaluates ideas and suggestions for new products and enhancements to existing products for manager.

§ Recommends potential changes to products and services in order to improve the organizations products and services

§ Prepares requirements defining product scope, features, functionality and output.

§ Obtains technical options and estimates of time and costs of product development, and assists in the coordination of all activities relative to the development of potential products.

§ Determines criteria used in screening product ideas and prepares complete proposals for management action.

§ Works with all levels of management in what product development, as well as working with internal departments on issues related to development, implementation, and ongoing servicing.
