Private Wealth Management - Investment Portfolio Specialist

SunTrust is currently seeking Investment Portfolio Specialist for our Private Wealth Management Group in Atlanta, Georgia. The Investment Portfolio Specialist "IPS" partners with the Client, Trust, Strategic Wealth and Investment Advisors (collectively "Advisors") to manage the financial and reputation risk associated with the fiduciary investment management process.  The IPS will be responsible for completing investment Reg9 account reviews and reporting, tracking and mitigating exceptions to ensure SunTrust's compliance with internal policies and regulatory/legal requirements.  Through system query and account reviews, the IPS proactively identifies the existence of exceptions and works with the Advisors to take the appropriate steps to eliminate, mitigate and/or escalate exceptions, while also tracking progress and verifying resolution.  Ensures required documentation is obtained, filed and processed according to policy.  Assists in the education, communication and reinforcement of fiduciary investment policies and regulations.  In addition the IPS may provide assistance with client and prospect meeting materials. Minimum Requirements: § Strong knowledge of trust account types and structures, legal and regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures typically acquired through 2+ years of fiduciary experience.  § Demonstrated ability to identify issues and work through resolution with line management.  § Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills.  § Intermediate/advanced PC skills including MS Word, Excel and database applications. Preferred Requirements: § Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field. § 2+ years of trust or fiduciary investment advisory or support experience. Interested and qualified candidates please click here to apply online.
