Pricing Project Manager

The Business:This is an exciting time to join a renowned Defence and Avionics business with a global footprint.  Due to a long history of acquisition, the business launched a strategic objective to drive organic growth via a multi-faceted transformation programme.  As a result, a series of change projects have been planned to target top line revenue growth, drive efficiencies and enable organisational capabilities.  We are now looking for high potential individuals to lead some these challenging global projects and enjoy a successful long-term career within the organisation.  With high visibility, the transformation programme offers the successful applicant an opportunity to develop their profile at board level of this dynamic FTSE 100 business.   The Position:There will be four Pricing Managers operating as part of a Global Project team, with a reporting line to the Project Pricing Lead.  Aligned to one of the organisations four global divisions, the pricing managers will evaluate the divisional pricing implications and give input for the implementation of a global model.  Major tasks include: Analyse current pricing opportunities across Global Organisation•  Gather data from Strategic Business Units (SBU’s), provide market insight•  Gather data from competitor organisations and other best practice environments•  Conduct pricing analyses Develop and Implement new pricing tools and processes•  Develop appropriate new pricing processes using data benchmarked both internally and externally•  Support the organisation to implement new processes and practices Ensure SBU’s understand and utilize new processes•  Coach and train SBU’s Business Development staff/Pricing staff in new ways of working The Person:You will be a proven project manager with a history of delivering effectively, on time, on target and to budget.  Experienced in change management, the appropriate individual will have demonstrable influencing skills leveraged on an international scale.  Commercially-minded, you will be driven by taking ownership and reaching out for support where required.  Your experience of business development and pricing will enable you to hit the ground running when you start with the organisation.  You are likely to be MBA qualified, and please note experience of working within the Aerospace & Defence industry will benefit your application. You will be required to undertake global travel as appropriate.
