Personal Financial Associate - Member Care

EDS Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Personal Financial Associate (PFA) – Member Care at our Corporate Headquarters located in Plano, TX.

 

Position Overview:

Position will perform PFA – Member Care functions which include but are not limited to:Assist members and potential members with telephone requests; answer questions about products and services including loan products; recommend products that will benefit the member; resolve problems that are within their authority to resolve; refer problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisorOriginate loan applications and contact members to relay loan decisions.Maintain a working knowledge of lending guidelines, policies/procedures and regulatory requirements.Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.Direct phone calls (with minimal transfers) to appropriate personnel/department if out of realm of service.Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.Assist members with Home Banking and related Web-based banking products.Check Member Care voice mail and reply to those calls accordingly.Perform other duties and assist other departments as assigned.

 Prerequisites:Equivalent to a high school diplomaLoan processing experience requiredPrevious experience in a call center environment a plusWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows basic software applicationsCompliance with Federal Bank Secrecy and Money  Laundering rules requiredExcellent listening, communication and telephone skillsMust be able to multi taskProficient in 10 Key, typewriter, computer keyboardAble to make decisions with minimum supervisionAbility to work as a team on projects with other departments
