Personal Bankers/Tellers/Teller Supervisors/Retail Managers
Sun National Bank is currently seeking community minded, company focused individuals for positions within our Retail Banking locations through Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer & Middlesex Counties.

Teller - Full and Part time:
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Accurately process routine financial transactions for banking customers with an emphasis on personalized quality service. Refer current and prospective customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services
Requirements:
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal & listening.
• Basic personal computer user skills.
• Working knowledge of calculator and ability to be trained and efficiently operate banking system (currently Kirchman).
• Strong basic math ability.
• Ability to learn and retain information.
Teller Supervisors:
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provide first level supervision to the teller line in the processing of financial transactions and the delivery of the highest level of quality customer service to customers and prospective customers. Ensure teller line referrals to Personal Banker staff are meeting goals. Ensure the operational integrity of the teller line.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, & listening.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and act in a leadership capacity.
• Strong basic math ability.
• Working knowledge of calculator and banking system (currently Kirchman) or ability to be trained and quickly learn the system.
• Working knowledge of bank products and services, or ability to be trained and quickly learn the products and services.
Personal Bankers:
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Contribute to increasing balance sheet growth, profitability and customer retention of the branch by meeting sales and service goals and objectives. Assess customer needs and effectively sell appropriate banking products and services. Provide personalized banking services ensuring the highest level of quality service is provided to current and prospective customers.
Requirements:
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, listening.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a sales environment
• Strong basic math skills.
• Working knowledge of banking software or ability to be trained and quickly learn.
• Working knowledge of bank products and services or ability to be trained and quickly learn.
Retail Branch Managers:
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Manage all aspects of the Retail Branch including financial performance, customer satisfaction and adherence to all regulatory and operation policies and procedures. Develop and implement action plan to increase growth, profitability and customer retention. Provide leadership to retail branch staff in the execution of the of established action plans.
Requirements:
• Proven ability to build an effective team and develop, coach and manage a staff.
• Demonstrated success in a retail sales environment.
• Extensive working knowledge of branch operations, sales, investment referrals, banking regulations, and thorough understanding of the consumer and small business lending process.
• Expertise interfacing with multiple departments and personnel at various levels.
• Demonstrated excellent written, verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
