Personal Banker

Job Purpose:Part Time Hours 10-3 Monday- FridayDevelops bank business by acquiring and developing client relationships; providing bank services; qualifying loans; meeting sales objectives; ensuring compliance with bank policies and government regulations.Duties:* Acquires new client relationships by sourcing and meeting potential clients; participating in community activities; explaining and selling bank products and services.* Develops client relationships by tracking current services; understanding client's financial goals; matching client's goals with bank products and services; cross-selling services; partnering with other bank associates; following portfolio management practices.* Identifies community financial service needs by conducting survey's and interviews.* Qualifies loans by interviewing and evaluating applicants; completing consumer loan applications; referring commercial loans.* Meets sales objectives by participating in sales meetings; analyzing sales quotas; developing sales targets; measuring and tracking sales results; participating in promotions; following sales management process.* Provides banking services by responding to inquiries; accepting and understanding requests; obtaining and clarifying client information; completing account openings, applications, and paperwork; coordinating with related departments;* Ensures compliance with bank policies and government regulations by maintaining files; following internal audit, loan review, branch operations, and collection procedures.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.* Enhances bank reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Skills/Qualifications:Financial Diagnosis, Financial Skills, Client Relationships, Client Contact Skills, ClientBase, Prospecting Skills, Selling to Customer Needs, Closing Skills, Reporting Skills, Product Knowledge, Business Knowledge
