As a Part Time/Full Time Financial Service Representative you will be assisting members with their financial transactions and questions. Your goal will be to fulfill USA Federal Credit Union’s promise of outstanding member service! A training program is provided to all new hires to learn about the Credit Union, products and services, communication tools and skills to help you be successful! Candidates should enjoy member contact while working in a branch environment and sales culture.
Primary responsibilities are to provide exceptional member service each and every time while obtaining monthly service level goals and ensuring key performance indicators as measured by the branch scorecard are met. The Performance Objectives for this position are: Loan Production, New Members, Selected Employee Group visits/events, Cross Sell Ratio, and Mystery Shops.
Process new accounts, loan payoffs, transfers, and loan applications at the point of contact. Respond and fulfill account research request(s) with a solution to member and credit union. Interview, input, disburse, and quote rates on member loan applications or requests. Cross-sell products and services within a sales and service environment to meet credit union goals and objectives within the branch. Sell or fulfill request for credit union negotiables, including checks, money orders, traveler’s cheques, wires, or other services offered by the credit union. Handles cash or non-cash transactions as a paying and receiving sales associate. Any and all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lending function experience a plus: loan interviewing, disbursing of loans, credit denials, and financial counseling. Previous experience working in a credit union/financial institution a plus Must successfully complete required curriculum for a Financial Service Representative as set by USA Federal Credit Union. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Outgoing personality with excellent communication and sales skills.
