PMO Contractor
Indymac Federal Bank is currently looking for a PMO Contractor to manage and direct initiatives and projects that support the overall strategy for the Corporate IT Division. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Directs and coordinates development, production and execution activities of a function/sub-function to include one or more IT departments, to achieve IT annual/strategic goals and objectives· Develops operational plans and schedules to achieve goals· Manages by prioritizing and allocating department staff resources in support of company goals and objectives· Actively trains, develops and counsels managers and staff in their professional, technical and personal career development2. Partners with internal customers and other IT departments to assess customer/system IT needs for information and functional operations. Determines scope and priorities of projects, including system capacity and equipment acquisitions· Working individually, performs feasibility analysis and utilizes IT expertise to recommend business solutions that meet internal customer requirements on time and on budget3. Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing· Develops feasibility analysis and project plans. Identifies resource requirements and time to completion based on available resources4. Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information/functional systems for the organization5. Develops, implements, and monitors IT policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance REQUIREMENTS: · Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university· 8+ years of increasingly responsible experience in applicable areas of IT development/operations· Demonstrated ability to target critical business problems and apply appropriate technology/methodologies to resolve· 2 or more years’ prior IT management experience or equivalent combination of education, IT experience and management experience PREFERRED:· Master’s degree strongly preferred· Extensive project management training, and experience KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:· Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables· Knowledge of mortgage/banking principles, practices and automation preferred· Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate projects· Strong oral and written communication abilities· Excellent customer service skills· Ability to adapt to change· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions To apply:Visit www.imb.com/careers Keyword: 0089664 Job InformationJob Title: PMO ContractorLocation: 91101Job Category: IT/Software DevelopmentCareer Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff)Contact InformationCompany: Indymac Federal BankReference Code: 0089664
