Job Description 

 

A Personal Banking Officer is the primary operational contact with the clients of the Bank and is responsible for responding to all client information and transaction requests.  The Officer is knowledgeable of all Bank services and products and is trained to promote and deliver those services, to include, but not limited to deposit accounts, existing loans, funds transfers, wire transfers, stop payments, and statistical information.  The Officer is sensitive to the needs of the clients and creative in his/her approach to accommodating requests.

 

 Essential Job FunctionsSupport the overall Relationship Management Team.Manage all aspects of clients' depository accounts with Bank. This includes, but is not limited to, opening/closing/superseding accounts, check orders, stop payments, managing exceptions, adjustments/reverslas, account analysis and return items.Act as a liaison with the branch to provide operation excellence to clients.Manage operational risk to protect the Bank against losses. This includes overdrafts, immediate credit, wire transfers, negotiable instruments, forgeries, cash control and all other operational matters that place teh Bank and client at risk.Provides outstanding customer service to all clients and prospects. Respond to all client inquires.Cross-sell appropriate products to the assigned relationships. Maintain the appropriate databases to document the sale process.Accompany Relationship Managers on client calls when needed.Must have good communication skills.
