The Operations Supervisor supervises paying and receiving operations, promotion of financial products, provision of financial counseling and varied customer services. The Operations Supervisor will function as a Paying&Receiving Teller as needed.   Operations Supervisors work in a fast paced environment, providing excellent customer service. The Operations Supervisor provides scheduling and workflow prioritization. They will be called upon to professionally resolve customer issues and ensure daily transactions are balanced to provide accurate record keeping and reports for audit and management requirements. Additionally, Operations Supervisor will assist customers in completing financial transactions and will work closely with entire team in directing lobby traffic. Compensation has a component of a base salary and incentive opportunity. •  Minimum of 2-5 years job experience as a Teller/Senior Teller or demonstrated leadership/supervisory ability in an operations area related to Bank or retail operations. •  Ability to communicate courteously and professionally. •  Basic math and computer skills. •  Exceptional customer service skills. •  Ability to sell financial products and services to meet referral goals. •  Ability to use automated systems and operates office equipment at an acceptable level of proficiency. •  Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday.   Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
