Description:


The Operations Manager has strategic and functional responsibility for the Enterprise Contract Management effort, the Operations and Technology Vendor Management initiative, Technology Procurement, and Technology Asset Management. The manager has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the contract and procurement areas. The manager is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the application/program and for ensuring that Senior and Executive management receive appropriate reporting from the ECMS system. The manager should ensure that all reporting and alerting generated by the system or by the department analyst meet the business needs of the individual lines of business. The manager is responsible for ensuring that all Operations and Technology contracts are entered appropriately into the ECMS system and is responsible for assisting in the development of annual maintenance/renewal budgets in association with contracted fees.







Requirements:Qualified candidates will have a BS or BA in Business, MIS, or applicable field. A minimum of 5-7 years procurement, vendor management and/or contract review experience and 2-3 years personnel management experience required. Candidate must have strong computer skills in a Windows environment and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Experience with the function and maintenance of relational databases preferred. Experience with Remedy and Upside Contract would be ideal. Candidate must possess outstanding interpersonal skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate must be comfortable working at all levels of corporate organization. The candidate should have be self motivated, dedicated, and capable of effective task delegation. The candidate should have a solid approach to effective time management, have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and effectively lead a team. Candidate must be highly motivated, eager to learn and accept responsibility. Must possess strong analytical skills and organizational capabilities; be detail oriented; capable of working in an autonomous environment; and have a strong understanding technical concepts & applications.
