Operations Officer
CU Business Group (CUBG) is a dynamic company that provides business lending, deposit and consulting services to credit unions across the country. We have an available position in our Portland, Oregon headquarters for a Business Operations Officer.

The Business Operations Officer plays a key role in all aspects of our operations. This position works closely with the VP/Loan Services Manager and our Operations staff on CUBG loan origination and servicing efforts by assisting credit unions with participation opportunities, loan documentation, post closing processes, and compliance in all areas of business services.Â

This position oversees the Operations staff of four people who are responsible for preparing loan documentation, coordinating the transfer of information between credit union clients and our office, and maintaining the loan documentation origination software and systems.

This position manages the operational side of our nationwide business loan participation network, which includes marketing of participation opportunities, coordinating and overseeing the gathering of required information for buying and selling the loans to credit unions

This position also assists credit unions with education and training on all areas of compliance and business services. The instruction is done individually, classroom style, and via webcast.Â
Â
The qualified candidate will have experience in business loan documentation, loan participations, and loan servicing as well as excellent oral and written communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office products. 5-10 years of experience in documentation, payments, and servicing of commercial real estate loans will move you to the top of the interview list. Experience in other types of business lending are desirable as well. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, self-starter with the ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and manage projects and tasks. Your starting salary will be based upon your applicable work experience.
