NorthWest Divisional Underwriting Manager

Northwest Division (Kirkland, WA)   MANAGERS MAY LIVE WITHIN OR OUTSIDE OF THE REGION THEY SUPPORTThe manager will organize and direct teams, as well as individually, to perform complex credit risk analyses based upon specific product guidelines and corporate policies.  The manager will exercise independent judgment and initiative process/procedures to resolve problems.  The manager will direct or facilitate branch underwriting teams.  The manger will also address specific issues and/or serve as liaison with external or internal partners.  The manager will lead and be responsible for training and coordinating the work of branch underwriting teams. Requirements: 5 years+ of senior level underwriting experience including management of employees.  Advanced PC skills including Access and Excel.  Professional presentation, training and communication skills.  Knowledge or experience related to the LOB or function.  Demonstrated ability to manage a large staff of underwriters as well as develop and apply creative business solutions. Preferred: Senior underwriter with supervisory/leadership experience.
