Network Administrator

Air Force Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Administrator to manage all aspects of network hardware, software, security, and infrastructure.

 

Job Responsibilities Include:Point of contact for all data processing and network communication development, installation and problem resolutions. Upgrades and maintains the networks’ hardware and software.Installs, upgrades, maintains and resolves issues with routers and switches and other frame related equipment.Installs and resolves telecom issues in a VOIP environment.Installs, secures, monitors and administers print, file, application and exchange servers.Implements, maintains, and enforces network and data security and policy.Provides thorough research, testing, implementation and support of network solutions.

 

Qualifications:

·  Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalency in work experience.Must be certified as a network administrator or have a minimum of five (5) years network administration experience with researching, installing, troubleshooting, and the day to day management of routers, switches, SUS, and VPN; and administering SQL, Exchange and Access databases.Working knowledge of various network infrastructures.Strong project management skills and proven ability to work independently, multitask, handle interruptions, and prioritize workloads.Certification as a Network Administrator or MCSE is a plus.

Qualified applicants must have dependable personal transportation; the ability to work late hours/weekends; travel to Credit Union branch locations; and be accessible 24-hours a day by blackberry or telephone, as needed.
