We currently have an excellent opportunity in San Francisco, CA for a highly motivated professional to contribute to the unit’s growth and profitability with extensive focus on business development activities; develop and retain business relationships by meeting the financial services needs of commercial businesses; and develop loans, depository accounts, and other fee generating services.

In this key role, you will also:Manage a portfolio of 15 or more commercial banking relationships Serve as a team leader for other relationship managers, associates, and support staff Support unit’s growth and profitability through effective development of new business Work closely with Cash Management, Treasury, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Equipment Leasing, Trade Finance, and other major areas of the bank to promote the sale and implementation of complex financial products and services Ensure the development and preparation of effective proposals for presentation to existing and potential customers Oversee the preparation of CRR’s, recommend credit facilities by signing final document, and ensure credit facilities and transactions are properly structured, priced, and documented Identify, classify, and monitor problems or potential problem loans in compliance with the internal credit review policy and attempt to collect accounts that are delinquent including negotiating payment schedules, obtaining proper pre-approval if required Oversee sales and service activities of other officers to ensure that current and potential customers receive the best sales service possible Act as a specialist for the bank in specific industry and keep current on all economic and other issues impacting industry

The position requires:A BA/BS (MS preferred) with 10+ years of relevant experience Experience in heavy prospect business development and customer cross sell marketing Thorough knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, practices, and documentation, including accounting, financial statement, and cash flow analysis In-depth knowledge of financial services used by commercial customers Experience in portfolio management and quality control Excellent marketing, negotiation, presentation, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills Geographic market knowledge preferred.
