Position Overview
The Processor position is an integral part of the overall efficiency of the loan process. Individuals in this position will process and assist in structuring mortgage loans in our borrowers' best interests, as well as clearing underwriting conditions and preparing the loan file for closing.
Responsibilities
§ Prepare a complete and approvable file for the underwriting department based on DU/LP requirements and FHA/investor guidelines
§ Communicating on a regular basis with nationwide sales staff and management
§ Continued training and development of knowledge relating to AEM policies and specific investor, state, and FHA guidelines
§ Contacting 3rd party vendors to obtain necessary documentation for loan approval
§ Managing a loan pipeline of an average of 60 loan files
§ Processors are expected to close 25-30 loans per month
Qualifications
§ 1-2 years related mortgage experience
§ FHA loan experience a plus
§ Knowledge of mortgage products and guidelines
§ Exceptional organizational skills
§ Detail-oriented
§ Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs
§ Self-motivator
§ Good time management skills
§ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
