Mortgage Loan Originator Develops and implements sales plans to various locations in assigned area; conducts sales and product training at regular branch staff and sales meetings as needed. Develops and executes presentations to potential customers in order to generate mortgage referral business. Determines the needs of prospects in order to sell bank products and services; provides complete loan origination and counseling services to applicants, including 48-hour pre-qualification service. Completes all required credit and income documentation for all applications. Submits applications to loan processor for input onto the computer system with 24 hours. Provides all required application disclosures to customers and ensures all RESPA requirements are met. Maintains contact with the customer while the loan is in process to keep borrower informed of status and to ensure customers expectations are being met. Maintains market awareness by compiling competitive reports and making product and program recommendations as needed to enhance market share. Adheres to all credit and documentation requirements as directed by the bank, its investor sand regulatory agencies. Submits all required performance and commission reports within established time frames. Provides assistance with loan processing and closing functions as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.Mortgage Loan Originator, CM0 - Typically requires a Bachelor's and 2+ years of directly related experience. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Working knowledge of mortgage lending, processing, credit analysis and mortgage regulations.
