Ford Motor Credit Company has recently filed an application for an industrial bank charter and FDIC insurance with the State of Utah and the FDIC. The Bank is in the start-up stage and expects to start operations in 2009 after receiving regulatory approval. The Bank will be focused on the automotive indirect lending and dealer mortgage businesses.  The Bank will operate as an independent business from Ford Motor Credit Company and be headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Coordinate closing of mortgage loans by working with lender's counsel, borrowers, borrower's counsel, title companies, insurance agents, etc. to collect, review and approve all required closing documents. -Follow-up closings by pursuing collection of all recorded documents and preparing documents for retention and accessibility by all interested parties.Specific Functions: -Review loan approvals for completeness -Obtain borrower organizational documents -Place approval and supporting documents in the e-room and coordinate with Ford Credit's Regional outside Counsel the preparation of the commitment letter and loan documents -Review commitment letters, promissory notes, mortgages, dealership leases, UCC statements, insurance policies, tax information and other supporting closing documents to assure compliance with the loan approval and closing procedures -Interact with the borrower, borrower's legal counsel, Ford Credit's Legal Department, local counsel, title company agents and other third parties associated with the mortgage closings to timely obtain all required documentation and to resolve issues and conflicts -Process renewals, amendments and modifications to existing mortgage loans -Process monthly construction draw applications -Maintain all record keeping for construction draws -Manage loan data in the Dealer Loan Mortgage Database and publish monthly production report. -Process wire transfer requests -Order title insurance commitments and other closing data. -Follow on missing documentation -Prepare loans documents for web-site access and long-term retention -Coordinate the processing and retention of paid-in-full loans, converted construction loans, environmental assessments, and property appraisals. -Plan and complete various ad hoc assignments and dealer loan reporting assignments -Maintain the department's record retention matrix and audit files.Requirements include but are not limited to: -Bachelor Degree -Para-Legal and/or real estate experience preferred -Excellent communication skills (oral and written) -Strong organizational and planning/prioritization skills -Ability to prioritize and simultaneously handle numerous assignments under stressful conditions -Proficiency in using Outlook, Word, Excel and Access -Proficiency in working with and understanding legal documents -Real estate documentation experience is preferred -High motivation and ability to work independently and with others with a strong focus on customer  satisfaction.This position will be located at the Bank's headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.  If appropriate, relocation assistance will be provided.  Some travel will be required, particularly during the start-up stage of the Bank.We have a commitment to our products and customers, but also know that our employees are the driving force behind our success.  Come discover a Company that is focused on automotive financing, but also cares about you, your family and your community.
