Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Perform detailed audit analysis of closed loan files.  Including: credit, collateral, state and federal regulations

Compile data for preparation of a written monthly report of QC findings

Assist with the preparation and audit of regional productions offices

Investigate suspicious loan activity

Evaluate appraiser packages and make appropriate recommendations

Evaluate 'one time only' appraiser approval request

Assist in the preparation of files for audits by investors, insurers and internal audit

Support regional production office, production support centers, correspondent lending

Required skills:

Good interpersonal, technical and problem solving skills

Very good written and verbal skills

Experience with MS application: Word, Excel and Outlook

Ability and willingness to travel occasionally overnight

Desired skills:

Supplemental education and experience in residential mortgage lending, including underwriting, processing and origination

Experience with fraud detection and prevention

Knowledge of investors/insurer guidelines, including: FHLMC, FNMA, VA and HUD
