Job Description: Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, an industry leader in reverse mortgage lending, is seeking a mortgage loan officer to concentrate on Reverse Mortgages throughout the Norteastern United States area. The Reverse Mortgage Consultant is responsible for creating awareness and demand for Reverse Mortgages. The ideal candidate is empathetic to the unique needs of Seniors and passionate about helping them achieve their financial goals. Please note this is a external/outside oriented 100% commission sales position.Duties include: Producing high quality loans which meet Wells Fargo Home Mortgage guidelines while providing excellent customer service Soliciting reverse mortgages from various sources including Community Outreach Programs, attorneys, healthcare organizations, realtors, builders, financial planners/professionals, past customers and other nontraditional sources. Developing relationships with business referral sources Developing and maintaining a high degree of visibility for WFHM in the community Performing miscellaneous duties as needed and require Delivering presentations to large groups Minimum Qualifications: Job experience: 3 years of Mortgage sales experience/and or 3 years of outside sales/and or 1 year of Reverse Mortgage sales experience Proven ability to self-source leads and to create profitable business relationships with referral partners Produces high quality loans which meet WFHM guidelines while providing excellent customer service.
