Job Description

As a Merchant Services Telesales Representative, you will be joining Federated Payment Systems, an industry leader in providing innovative point-of-sale (POS) payment acceptance. You'll be based in Melville NY at the Huntington Quadrangle.
 
You will be the first point of contact within FPS, reaching out to businesses within your assigned market, and introducing them to innovative point of sale capabilities at the point of sale and services such as credit cards, PIN or signature debit cards, and electronic check services, Merchant Cash Advances along with Gift and Loyalty Card programs. You will utilize your expert sales skills as you develop leads and respond to referrals generated by your partners in the branch network.  Your strong negotiating skills will come into play as you develop and present proposals to meet the needs of your merchant clients. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the business as you build relationships and interface with other ISO’s in an effort to cross-sell a full array of banking products. Continue to grow professionally as you maintain an in-depth working knowledge of credit/debit, gift, and other card entitlements and compliance/regulatory issue.  You will also be on the cutting edge as you develop a strong knowledge of industry trends such as new product/technical solutions and competitive changes.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:Demonstrated strong sales skills. Exemplary customer service skills. Excellent presentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and negotiate contracts. Ability to effectively manage several tasks/projects simultaneously. 1 + years of telesales experience and or experience in bank card industry, with account sales as a requirement. Telesales experience mandatory.
