 Member Assistance Center Representative (Call Center):

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This customer service representative in this position will provide customer support to customers/ members that call or email into the credit union. He/she will be responsible for answering questions and concerns from customers/ members and potential customers/ members. The customer service representative will make transfers and payments for current customers /members, process loan advances, and quote loan payoffs. Additionally, this representative will cross-sell Desert Schools products and services. He/she will do required research to assist customers/ members in corrections/explanations of transactions on their accounts. Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications: 1-2 years experience in a customer service field, retail environment and or sales environment; previous call center experience and experience in a financial institution is preferred

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Explorer; must be able to type at least 35 wpm.

Other Skills and Abilities: Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
