Marketing Data Analyst

Primary Characteristics: Working within EverBank's Banking Analytics Group, this position will perform analysis and develop reporting to support targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for performing routine updates to the Marketing Database. This position will utilize the marketing database and other bank systems to provide actionable information and insight to business unit leaders. Essential Functions: * Responsible for performing timely updates to the Marketing Database * Analyze data on customers and prospective customers * Construct targeted direct marketing files to include serialized marketing programs with multiple test cells * Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts by measuring program lift (contact vs. control) and ROI * Use statistics to estimate sample sizes and determine the significance of results * Produce lead generation lists for outbound marketing programs * Responsible for the design and production of analytic report packages Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): * Knowledge of marketing concepts * Proven experience with database marketing, customer segmentation and results analysis * Extensive experience with MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Functions) and MS Access * Knowledge of statistics, confidence intervals, sampling and test/control cells * Must possess the ability to convey ideas articulately to peers and clients * Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment * Experience with SAS and/or SQL is a plus Training and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field strongly preferred * 2-5 years experience in Marketing Analytics field preferred * Proven experience designing and utilizing relational databases * Mortgage Banking or Direct Bank Marketing experience a plus but not required Please be sure to mark our "careers" page as a favorite place on your computer and visit often.
