Market Research & Product Manager

The Market Research & Product Manager leads the organization’s research activities including products and market development including but not limited to:
· Overseeing the Marketing Customer Information File (MCIF) system and all related activities including providing support with measurement, analysis, reporting and mail files,
· Overseeing the MCIF software system vendor relationship, including ensuring the data integrity and consistency of reports,
· Participating in Strategic Planning projects and initiatives including, but not limited to, identifying new business opportunities, evaluating existing and potential markets, identifying new branch locations, product development, and determining options for growth in specific markets,
· Assisting with the evaluation of potential merger partners including identifying overlapping and complimentary areas of service,
· Evaluating and integrating product and service lines with merger partners,
· Developing data maps from the integration of various data sources, and
· Analyzing each product/service as directed seeking opportunity for expansion, financial improvement, competitiveness and marketing opportunities.
Candidates will posses a Bachelor’s degree in Research, Business Administration, Marketing or Finance with a minimum of three years of experience in related field, preferably in a financial institution. The position requires understanding of data-mining techniques. Knowledge of financial products and services preferred. In addition, proven analytical, market research and problem-solving skill, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task with multiple simultaneous projects and switch between projects readily with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups is required. Proficiency in Excel, Access, mapping software, MCIF systems and word-processing applications is also a must.
