Market Data Engineer 130-140K+
Provide Market Data Engineering and support in a large scale complex IT environment for a High Profile Financial Firm.  This will involve Market Data trading floor support, installation, implementation and upgrades to existing and new market data and clearing applications.  Maintenance and update internal project management tools.  Provide and maintain detailed documentation on all facets of Market Data and Clearing environments. Maintain an accurate inventory of  Market Data services and equipment.  Remain current with new technologies and all Market Data Products.  Assist with MAC (moves, adds and changes).  Maintain working relationships with Market Data technicians.

Requirements include:*Deep knowledge of Market Data Technologies including related networking concepts and telecommunications equipment. *5+ years experience in primary Market Data applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters RMDS, 3000 xtra, Tradeweb, and Thomson Financial.*Working knowledge of primary clearing services such as BONY, Chase, DTCC and Sungard and related applications.*Ability to troubleshoot and repair all equipment related to Market Data.*Ability to support and troubleshoot Windows desktop operating systems.*Completed four year college degree with Computer Science or related course of study (math, engineering, information systems,...).
