As a Manager of Customer Analytics & Modeling, you will support the BICC vision of delivering the right data, to the right person at the right time. Specifically, you will make your mark through: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES -Develop predictive models to optimize profit and maximize shareholder value -Lead effort to educate organization on value and application of analytical methods -Employ critical thinking in deploying "appropriate" analytical methods to match business strategies -Strategize end-to-end analytical method implementation and model delivery in systems integration projects such as Epiphany, Siebel Campaign Management, Call Centers, and Sales Force Automation -Construct methodology to measure and maximize effectiveness of marketing spend/ROI -Develop targeting methodologies for customer segments based on affinity, response, and value combination -Develop state-of-the-art segmentation methods to identify opportunities for optimizing consumer and dealer pricing -Provide value-based ratings to support marketing and consumer strategies -Select analytical methodology and framework to identify most profitable customer segments -Provide predictive analytics for the direct to consumer strategies -Provide segmentation for targeted marketing strategies for cross-selling of TMIS & TFSB products -Identify the right metrics to track in developing business solutions -Build and manage a customer-focused modeling team -Build effective partnering relationships with business units -Demonstrate ability to work with matrixed resources, including offshore resources -Translate statistical jargon into key concepts and facts that the business can understand -Collaborate with BTS organization to identify data sources to be included in data warehouse environment -Develop analytics training curriculum and analytics best practices methodology -Teach analytics courses to TFS associates -Manage relationships with internal clients and vendors Qualifications TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates for this position must have strong experience and knowledge of the following technologies: -Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Industrial Engineering or Operations Research -Statistical software: Requires extensive knowledge of SAS or other statistical programs -Mastery of Statistical Techniques and Models: Regression, Hazard models, retention models, attrition models, financial valuation, conjoint, factor analysis, chi square, etc. -Experience in SQL programming a plus -Database: SQL, Oracle, MS Access, MS Excel -Minimum of 7 — 10 years work experience -Highest level of analytical skills -Ability to explain difficult statistical concepts and analytical models in simple language -Knowledge and usage of Business Intelligence software: Hyperion, Cognos, Business Objects -Ability to effectively manage and build a team Toyota Financial Services rewards both individual and organizational results with well-balanced compensation, benefits and perquisite programs.
