Responsibilities will include:

 

~ Collaborating with others to understand the business problem

~ Creating key statistical/data strategies for a line of business and influencing business decisions

~ Developing  project plans, setting/managing expectations and delivering results through others

~ Analyzing data, building models and assessing their quality

~ Monitoring model performance and making recommendations, as needed

~ Communicating results, recommendations to Sr. Management

~ Managerial opportunities may exist for the right candidate who desires that career path.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required):

~ Master's degree in Statistics or related quantitative field

~ 4 years of experience working with classic Statistical tools such as linear models, logistic regression, hypothesis testing and/or sampling.

~ Proficient in SAS programming

 

Preferred:

~ PhD in Statistics or related quantitative field

~ Project and/or direct management experience

~ Ability to build relationships focusing on communicating clearly and openly;

~ Strong conceptual thinking skills; High degree of initiative and personal ownership

~ Highly motivated, self-directed, and independent
