Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: First Citizens Bank MORTGAGE BANKER - White Sulfur Springs Position Description The Mortgage Banker is a sales position responsible for the production of mortgage loans while providing superior customer service. The Mortgage Banker is responsible for maintaining personal production, delivering customer service, and developing and managing a high-quality pipeline of residential mortgage loan applications. The Mortgage Banker must develop and execute a personal marketing plan that will build and maintain relationships with outside referral sources (Realtors, builders, etc.) and internal referral sources (FCB retail bankers, etc.) that lead to mortgage loan referrals. This position will be responsible for managing the progression of those loans through the loan process. This position will have overall accountability for ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate guidelines. In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring customer service standards are met. Position Requirements High School or GED with a minimum of 2 years mortgage lending, banking, and/or outside sales experience.Knowledge of basic computer skills.Experienced mortgage sales producerDemonstrated competency with regard to the volume and quality of productionDemonstrated standards of behavior that represent the company in a positive, professional mannerThirst for learning, becoming an expert in company procedures and policies, compliance, and mortgage loan products and underwritingMust be a team player exemplified by strong communications, high ethical standards, and close partnership with support associatesStrong sense of urgency Apply Online
