Loss Prevention Assistant
Assists Security & Loss Prevention Specialist with the day-to-day activities of the Bank’s Security, Bank Secrecy/Anti-Money Laundering functions and other related regulatory matters in adherence with all applicable regulations, polices, and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assists with the review and correction of CTR data input by branch personnel using the automated CTR processing system.
2. Assists with development of BSA Compliance and Loss Prevention Training materials and delivery of related training.
3. Tracks and reviews monthly reports and logs submitted by the branches as required by the Security Manual.
4. Compares updates from OFAC and FinCEN against Bank’s account database.
5. Assists with review of suspicious activity reporting/transactions.
6. Serves as back up for the Security & Loss Prevention Specialist in his/her absence.
7. Various projects and assignments as requested by Security management.
Requirements
1. Good oral and written communications skills.
2. Ability to deal effectively with internal, and external contacts.
3. Working knowledge of general office equipment, personal computers, and related software including: Windows, Word, and Excel.
4. Good analytical, organizational and technical skills with ability to reach logical conclusions.
5. Formal education through high school required, as well as a 2-year college degree or equivalent experience.
6. Two (2) or more years of general banking experience including Loss Prevention and/or BSA/AML experience.
