Loan Service Counselor - Albany, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Loan Service Counselor will be responsible for collecting on auto loans 5 to 50 days past due. In addition, there will be daily interaction with the supervisory and management team to collect on delinquent accounts, prevent charge offs and maintain good customer relations with borrowers. Demonstrates good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers. Negotiates account resolution and accurately inputs and documents actions within the collection systems while maintaining company performance and productivity standards.Escalates calls to the RCC Management Team as needed. May be required to initiate external contact with customers or perform basic skip tracing. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: High School or equivalent certificate required. Previous collections and/or customer service/ call center experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
