Loan Operations Specialist
Our client, a large commercial bank, seeks a Loan Operations Specialist to join their team. Interested applicants must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check. This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.
The Loan Operations Specialist, (LOS) primary responsibility is to possess a strong aptitude and comprehension of our Fidelity host system and act as the Bank’s System Administrator.
LOS’ primary responsibility is to board all commercial, consumer, and system type 5 loans onto Fidelity, processes the Due Participant Report and assists employees with daily maintenance on loan accounts and processing loan payments for the Bank. LOS is expected to interact with employees on a daily and consistent basis in projecting a first class response culture. Individual is expected to work as a team with the rest of the Bank to promote the overall spirit of cooperation.
Job Responsibilities
· LOS shall process Bank loan payments/advances/wires.
· LOS shall provide loan maintenance research (posting errors, billing/statement problems, etc.), to include processing the UIR each day.
· LOS shall reconcile Loan Settlement/Due Participant Reports weekly.
· LOS is responsible for communicating with other investor banks in regards to participated advance requests and participated loan payments.
· LOS shall manage ACH/Auto transfer setup/maintenance/rejects.
· LOS is responsible for boarding all loans for the Bank, via the Fidelity System.
