This is a direct hire opportunity for the ideal candidate. The Loan Operations Clerk will be responsible for the processing of loans and time deposit disbursements and payments. Other duties include: making interest rates adjustments and credits and debits clients’ accounts by performing the following duties.  The Loan Operations Clerk supports the Operations Department of the Company by performing the following duties:   Sets-up and administer escrow accounts in accordance with the established customer agreements Receives instructions for new time deposits and loans and any modifications or requests for payments, reviews them for proper approval, and ensures information is complete Contacts Private Banking Manager to resolve discrepancies Inputs new loans and time deposits in computer system and modifies existing loan and time deposit computer records as necessary Creates and maintains files for all loans and time deposits Processes instructions for bankers’ acceptances and refinancing of letters of credit and verifies and corrects information on computer records, as necessary Prepares wire transfers for loan disbursements, prints copies, obtains wire transfer authorization from appropriate individuals, and delivers to Paying & Receiving Area for execution Sets-up escrow accounts in accordance with customer instructions Arranges for printing of time deposit interest checks, reviews them for accuracy, obtains officer signatures, and mails them to clients On a monthly basis, corrects interest accruals according to reports provided by reconcilements clerk, and reconciles loan and time deposit folders to computer records Other duties as assigned by Manager EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to operate MS Word (or similar word processing program) intermediate level; use:  Datapro e-IBS Ability to speak, understand, read and write: Spanish Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, clients, and general public Pay: Based on experience Applicants MUST meet all requirements to be considered for the position.
